California is 25% Republican. The state has 14% Republican representatives in the house and 20% Republicans in the state legislature. Newsom only wants to reduce that number to 0% in each case to make it impossible to fail to get his way on anything. Texas is only a handy excuse. Both parties do it and it shouldn't be allowed at all.

No one is stealing an election, except of course 47, who tried to convince both the Governor Georgia and the Secretary of State for Georgia to find him, "11,700 Votes", after vote tallies came for the 2020 Election. I cannot help but notice YOU have NO PROBLEM with TEX-ASS stealing an election.

Governor Newsom is moving to counter attempts by Texas to keep Republicans in control of House of Representatives. New York Governor Kathy Hochul is also making nose redistricting in New York State as a means counter the move by Texas. This is just the beginning of the 2026 Election. Yes, I will be voting for Redistricting.
