Ok. I'll concede error on the video. I slooooowwwed it down so could get the nuance of the pronunciation. It's still faux outrage when you're digging up a comment from 2009 for political gain. And if you listen further to the video, she actually said that Hispanic wasn't a race or an ethnicity. While she is correct, I'm surprised she didn't catch any flak for that. I'll admit, I didn't know much about AB5. After reading a bit more about it, I'll come down on the side of the freelancers. This looks to be a hastily put together piece of legislation. They have my support for getting rid of it..or retooling it to look like something that isn't a bulldozer.

It should be pointed out that the state rep from San Diego (Lorena Gonzalez) who was shouting F-U at Elon Musk when he threatened to move Tesla out of state was also shouting F-U at critics when she was pushing this "gig" bill that promised to kill 40,000 jobs in California.

I just wanted you to know the sort of people who were so vociferous and enthusiastic about gettin rid of jobs
in a state that could use all the jobs they can get. They are California state representatives.

I can't really work up many tears at all when one realizes it's the California voters that vote in these little
