California approves statewide rent control to deal with housing crunch

No longer any need for owners of a rental property in California to pay property tax!

No longer any need for owners of a rental propery in California to do any maintenance.

It'll take years for the state or city to confiscate - just be sure to bank the money out of state - or maybe out of country. Surely that was the intent - lots of legislators own rental properties and smell the money.

This is the reason socialism fails not sometimes but every time. Socialism despite all of its high sounding nobility is simply the process of forcing the successful part of society to yeild unwillingly to the unsuccessful part of society. In any power differential the grounding effect of a load always supersedes the ability of the power source to supply it. It is no different in the economy or in life in general.

California approves statewide rent control to deal with housing crunch

California lawmakers on Wednesday passed a statewide cap on annual rent increases for most tenants, the boldest step yet to address an affordable housing crunch that has helped push people into the streets.

Oh you can be sure they are just going to help you so well , and oh my follow the law to the "T" yeah right. YOur a moron if you even believe their bs excuse.
I knew that they were going to do something like this. When they start the Green New Deal/ Paris Climate accord. That the taxes is going to go up as high as $3,000 a month. That the landlords will not be able to raise the rent on their tenants, to make up the difference. Which that means the landlords will not be making a profit, but losing out. Which they will have to file for bankruptcy and give up the properties to the bank. Because they cannot afford to pay the taxes.
And now Hillary and the Global Elites are going to be singing that great ol' song that is called, "happy days are here again", since the last time when they sang that song during the White water scandal. When they were taking money from the elderly .
Now we don't have to worry about them taking away our guns and rights. it is because we are not going to have any money or home to protect. That we are just going to be living out in the wilderness, while being raped or sodomized by wild creatures that are living in the woods.

The cost, however, would be overwhelming, according to new research. If fully enacted, the Green New Deal would cost the average American household a minimum of $36,000 per year in new taxes, added debt or other economic costs, according to analysis from the center-right American Action Forum. At the high end, the GND could cost every U.S. household $65,000 per year.

36k in new taxes eh? So how does the median income household supply that?
Oops....guess they didn't think of that.
We are actually at 100 percent confiscation now. Art Laffer was correct!

During a high-profile speech last July in Vatican City, Governor Jerry Brown told Pope Francis that “90 percent of the coal” reserves worldwide “can never be taken out of the ground” if the planet is to avoid a climate catastrophe. Brown’s remarks, which are posted on the governor’s official website, were hailed by climate change activists around the globe and further positioned Brown as a world leader in the fight to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

But in the East Bay, activists and political leaders have been concerned for months about the fact that the governor has remained silent on the most controversial local environmental issue: a plan to ship coal through a new terminal at the former Oakland Army Base. Local activists say Brown hasn’t responded to their letters and emails and won’t meet to talk with them about the Oakland coal proposal, despite the fact that he was a longtime resident of the city and served for eight years as its mayor.

Public records may provide a clue to Brown’s reticence: They show that he has financial ties to a company that could profit greatly from shipping coal through Oakland.

Once again, they preach one thing but do exactly the opposite. Just like Biden who abused his power by shoving his son into a corrupt leading Ukranian fossil fuel company, and later used extortion to save him.

It will be a nationwide catastrophe, if , God Forbid, the D's take over in Washington.

One of the worst effects of this, besides the decline of the quality of housing, is the fact that it chains a person to a specific housing unit. If they move, they are no longer protected by Rent Control. It will plummet their state into malaise and decay.
