'The Night Agent' star gives blunt message to actors who want to be political

One of the RARE actors out there that actually KNOWS HIS PLACE and what JOB HE HAS!!!

Actor Gabriel Basso, who stars in the Netflix thriller, "The Night Agent," and played a young JD Vance in "Hillbilly Elegy," believes actors should be entertainers, not political commentators.

"I don't believe that actors should be famous," Basso said while on the "Great Company" podcast on January 31, after being asked if he enjoyed the fame that came from starring in the popular Netflix series.

The actor spoke out against celebrities who use their platform to deliver political messages, saying this went far beyond the scope of their job.

What about WWE stars?

I get what's being said, but at the end of the day, people on the radio, the TV, the big screen, and in the athletic field are no different compared to the more common people. In other words, musicians, actors/actresses, and athletes have the right to speak their mind whenever something is important enough to them just like the rest of us. That singer lady named Jewel pretty much said everything after she was attacked for what she did on inauguration day. Go here for the write up on her.

God bless you and Jewel and Gabriel always!!!

I was telling my wife about this today because she is watching the series. 2024 should be a huge wakeup call to all of Hollywood and other celebrities and their dem slaves that Americans don't give a crap who they tell us to vote for.

Are we supposed to care when WWE stars tell us who to vote for?

The moron doesn't seem to understand that expressing the idea that actors should shut up and dribble is also a political message....

No. Endorsements are, for the most part, overrated. But, we're sick of Hollywood in particular telling us how we should live our lives and who to vote for.

I’m sick of the WWE style of government. It’s fantasyland for teenage boys that never grew up.
