In actuality, Trump made it clear that he was talking about illegal aliens in that clip, but that portion was cut out by CNN. Further, he allowed that it was some illegals who were murderers and drug dealers, but not all. No matter, CNN has a narrative to push in the minds of their mind-numbed viewers.

Before we get to Donald Trump, let’s start there, shall we?
Steinle’s murder — in cold-blood, at random, and in broad daylight in San Francisco — is made even more despicable by the fact that her alleged murderer — identified by shocked passersby who caught the killer’s image on their cell phone — was quickly captured and revealed to be one Francisco Sanchez. Sanchez is a seven-times convicted felon and five-times deported illegal immigrant from Mexico.
And on top of that outrage? That would be the disgraceful performance of some Republican presidential candidates — shamefully playing the Latino race card for votes. Abandoning every last core value of the Lincoln/Reagan Republican Party and the conservative movement. And that’s before you get to those race-card playing businesses who have piously — slyly is a better word — jumped into the fray. The thought police are now out for blood — and a fate once reserved for bakers of cakes on gay marriage is now used to target a maker of empires over his opposition to illegal immigration. The Gestapo mindset spreads.
Question: What if the murdered Kathryn Steinle had been a young black woman? Instead of being a young white woman in San Francisco, what if the scenario changes? Let’s do just that.
Steinle is now a young black woman — let’s make her a young minister of a church in Philadelphia, Mississippi. On an evening stroll with her father and a friend — in broad daylight — a young white man whom she does not know suddenly walks up to the young Pastor Steinle, pulls a gun, shoots her once in the chest and flees. Pastor Steinle’s stunned and frantic father tries to save her as his beloved daughter lies on the ground begging “Dad! Help me!” Horrified eyewitnesses turn their cell phones on the killer and he is quickly identified and captured by the police a few streets away.
Taken to the hospital, the young minister — the prime of her life ahead of her — dies in her weeping family’s arms. The killer, it turns out, is a white Southern racist named Frank Smith. A seven-time convicted felon, Smith has a history of racist views, is suspected of burning crosses on the lawns of black residents, and once served jail time for the burning of a black church. He also has acquired a few drug convictions along the way.

The fact that a beautiful young woman in the prime of her life, Kathryn Steinle, 32 years old, was cut down by an illegal alien on Pier 14 in San Francisco should surprise no one.
Juan Francisco Lopez-Sanchez,, an illegal alien from Mexico, most recently of Texas, simply shot Kathryn Steinle for no apparent reason as she and her family walked along waterfront on Pier 14.
From all accounts, Kathryn was an amazing young woman. She worked at Medtronic, a medical technology company in the Bay area, and loved traveling and doing charity work, including hosting a fundraising dinner recently for patients with multiple sclerosis.
Powerful California Democrats — Lt. Gov. Gavin Newsom and Attorney General Kamala Harris — had previously celebrated San Francisco’s storied flouting of federal law, bragging about how they had made the trademark City on the Bay, a Sanctuary City for illegal criminals. Now they are scrambling for cover.
When Newsom was San Francisco’s mayor, and Harris was San Francisco’s District Attorney, both enthusiastically championed the most radical sanctuary policies in the country.
That was until a triple-murder took some bloom off the rose.
On June 8th, 2008, an MS-13 Gang Member named Edwin Ramos — also an illegal alien — was released onto the streets of San Francisco instead of into federal custody for deportation. Within 48 hours, he obtained a gun and murdered three innocent people: a father, Tony Bologna, and his two sons, Matthew and Michael, who made the fateful decision to play baseball on a beautiful summer afternoon. Tony’s widow, Danielle Bologna, blamed their deaths on San Francisco’s sanctuary policy.
While Mayor Gavin Newsom tinkered around the edges of the sanctuary policy, Kamala Harris refused to grant justice to the Bologna family due to her own personal opposition to the death penalty.
But that’s not where it ended.
San Francisco’s flamboyant Assemblyman Tom Ammiano — best known for his raucous wit and inappropriately raunchy comments on the floor — pushed to make California a Sanctuary State for illegal alien criminals. In 2011, he introduced AB1081, which I fought against vigorously during my time in the Assembly, noting Jerry Brown’s opposition to sanctuary policy as Attorney General in my floor speech.
I predicted that more people would die under policies that forbid local, state and county law enforcement from cooperating with federal immigration authorities.
