Not really, cooking it to a temperature that will kill pork bacteria renders the meat a charcoal, carcinogenic mess.

Pork bacteria aren't any tougher than other bacteria. There may be reasons to avoid pork, but using this kind of argument just makes people shake their heads and ignore you.

It isn't,as you say there toughness. The shear volume of bugs. And fat and grease and stink. It is a dangerous dinner.

That said, it is your life in a free county. This is the way I try to live mine. UMMV
