Bumbling Biden Takes Credit for Burger Flippers No Longer Having to Sign Non-Compete Agreements

Case dismissed.

It might be part of franchise ownership contracts but not for workers.

I'm sure it is for a franchise owner. But I could see a franchise owner being a bit confused for a while and asking their burger flippers and parking lot cleaners to sign it by mistake, at least until he was corrected.

I don't think such a non-compete clause is even enforceable for burger flippers.

Thanks for showing McDonald's Corp made franchises sign such NCA's.
Franchises are owners not employees. A franchisee is not going to leave the McDonald's franchise and flip burgers across the street for Jack in the Box. An employee for a franchise McDonald's is not bound by any franchise agreement.

And yet, franchises were not hiring employees from other nearby franchises in accordance with their NCA.
