Red State! Amen.
Although the Bills’ owner stupidly fired a terrific head coach, and it pisses me off as a Bills fan, I will say this:

The hiring of their their own offensive coordinator, Joe Brady, as their new Head Coach was a step in the right direction after the owner’s idiotic firing of
Sean McDermott.

[By the way: Cooks absolutely caught the pass and was down by contact on his back with the ball still completely in his possession. Then, but only then, did it get stripped away from him. One of the worst calls ever, not just on the field but by the officiating crew in NY. Disgraceful.]

And Pegula fired a great head coach for some silly reason related to not getting his team to the Super Bowl? Idiotic.

still shocked they fired him, I mean he's had a winning record and they fell short, it happens

if every team lost in the playoffs and they fired the coach, the turnover would be huge

The Bills needed to invest more in referring. It's pointless to follow the NFL

It was a stupid move. The Bills aren't out because of the coach, they are out because of Allen's turnover.

Made no sense to blame the coach for that.

I don’t believe it’s pointless. But, it is starting to appear that way.

Officiating has either become really really bad OR I’m maybe it’s always been bad and I’m just noticing.

Either way, the zebras and the NY office shouldn’t be deciding games.

They hired Brady because they wanted an offensive minded coach.

I saw and heard detailed analysis of "the catch" and I calmed a bit. And yes I've seen worse calls on other type plays.

But,

a. The guy said it was reviewed? He said it just didn't take long. Did NFL ever address this?

B. Gulp. He said the offense dod not maintain possession thru the catch, the ball never hit the ground. Therefore it was called a fumble. They showed some slow motion where the ball was faked from the reciever after he hit the ground.

Sometimes its so hard. It looked like a catch and a takeaway. Tie goes to offense they sometimes say? So it could be a catch on the tie rule.

The zebras have been putting their fingers in the scales, more so as betting increases

As of January 30, 2026, two NFL head coach vacancies remain:

Arizona Cardinals
Las Vegas Raiders

The Cleveland Browns recently hired Todd Monken as their new head coach, completing the majority of the 10 head coaching changes that occurred during the 2025–2026 offseason. The final decisions for the Cardinals and Raiders are pending, with both teams targeting Seahawks offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak for interviews, though he is currently preparing to coach in Super Bowl LX.

Kubiak is expected to interview with both teams before the Super Bowl, but the hiring process cannot resume until February 9, the day after the game, due to NFL rules. The Raiders and Cardinals are also considering other candidates, including Denver Broncos’ Davis Webb and Vance Joseph, but Kubiak is considered the leading contender for both positions.

Cleveland Browns hired Todd Monken, former Baltimore Ravens offensive coordinator, on January 28, 2026, becoming the eighth team to name a new head coach.

Buffalo Bills promoted offensive coordinator Joe Brady to head coach on January 29, 2026.

Pittsburgh Steelers hired Mike McCarthy on January 26, 2026, replacing Mike Tomlin.

New York Giants hired John Harbaugh on January 26, 2026, after his departure from the Ravens.

Atlanta Falcons hired Kevin Stefanski on January 21, 2026.

Miami Dolphins hired Jeff Hafley on January 23, 2026.

Tennessee Titans hired Robert Saleh on January 25, 2026.

Baltimore Ravens hired Jesse Minter on January 25, 2026, replacing John Harbaugh.
