Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band began their “Land of Hope & Dreams” tour with forceful messages about the “treasonous” Trump administration. Bruce Springsteen Opens Tour by Blasting ‘Treasonous’ Trump

I don't know how the rest of you feel, but I for one when I buy a ticket to go see a performer, band, play, whatever, I am not paying to see their political rants on display....

First off, tickets like these can range anywhere from $350 per seat, all the way to $1,000....And for that kind of money I need to hear their TDS on display?

Now, I am not a fan of Springsteen, and wouldn't consider seeing his show, but none the less, lots of people are fans of his music, not necessarily his political thoughts....He should just shut up and sing.

There was a TV program about 15 years ago or so when Tom Hanks as host introduced Springsteen across the stage. He was supposed to sing. anyway he started to do the political speech and for a couple of seconds the camera was on Hanks, and he shook his head slightly as to mean no. So, Springsteen then started to sing. Hanks is a Prog as we know also. Progs are so power hungry and adherents to the godless party they do not even believe in accountability even not even lying to the public saying that they do. DOGE is proof of that. It would be good if they joined in on it since they promoted the same thing.

He sounds like a Goddamn drunk when he sings.

Separating the music from the politics has become old hat for me, considering my music choices.

Yep, I think all musical performers should leave their politics at stage left....I don't pay to hear political opinions...

Nothing wrong with a brief statement, it's a free country after all, but the unhinged rants are getting tiresome.

And what is with aging rockers morphing into looking like someone's spinster great-aunt?

I love you Bruce. I want to be your Trophy Girlfriend. If you can not afford the seats, blame Trump.

I never liked him or his music

Everyone enjoys attending a ticket to a rock concert with the privilege of being preached to.

Springsteen thinks he looks all hipster and everything...he's a joke...

What's it say about today's music when these rockers with one foot in the grave are still out there touring? Sad.

To be fair the man is the same age as my father, and I saw him 6 years ago at age 70 and the dude put on a 2 hour set with one 10 minute break during a guitar solo.

Most of what he said is correct, one could make the case it is all true.

To put things into greater context, however, is when students on a foreign visa come over here and foment unrest that leads to school closure, vandalism, and threats against Jewish students, you can, and should, be kicked out of the country. Most of what he said needs no context added, it's plain to see and obvious.

In America, the worlds richest men are taking satisfaction in abandoning the worlds poorest children to sickness and death.

Needs no context.

Regardless of whether people like or hate it, artists/performers can do whatever they want to express themselves, and that includes their political views. In fact, a lot of them do that, don't they? Taylor Swift is another one.
