Question, Hypothetical situation, should either party not have a winner heading into their convention.
Then there would be a brokered convention. Now the question is can someone not on the primaries be elected?
Does the party have to choose from the candidates that have received votes through the primary process?
Given that there is also no winner after the first ballot and delegates are free to choose another candidate.
