IMHO they should remain closed permanently, or at least have the name changed to something less sexist.

"Broad"way?? Broads think the term "broad" is misogynist, at least those who live in leftist heck holes like NYC.

What's wrong with Woman Way?

Only a retard would think the "broad" in broadway refers to women.
Don’t be so hard on the child. They clearly haven’t been to the theatre, New York, or anyplace else with a cultural center.
Poor thing probably doesn’t know that it’s broadway because it’s a wide street.
Not the sharpest bear

It's doubtful that there will ever be lights on Broadway again. New York is collapsing. It is filthy and crime ridden. Gun control is so tight that only criminals have guns. Right now the tourist industry is in such collapse that the hotels are being turned into homeless shelters. Those hotels are not coming back. That investment is gone and won't come back. Anyone that can leave is leaving. Escape From New York was a documentary.

I could be wrong, but the term "broad way" probably came first. The slang word for a woman probably came later. In other words, why should the original name have to be the one that changes, especially when there are other words that are used to describe the female gender?

God bless you always!!!

P.S. How often is the word "dame" used these days?
