I have a huge respect to British state, this country is not just created our Liberal Order , but they still are ready to fight for it! Terrible News for pootler ....

Britain is co-ordinating with its allies on a potential plan to send warships to the Black Sea port of Odesa to offer a protective escort to ships exporting Ukrainian grain.

Lithuanian foreign minister Gabrielius Landsbergis said yesterday he had discussed the creation of such a 'protective corridor' from Odesa with British foreign secretary Liz Truss.

He also said a 'coalition of the willing', made up of NATO countries and other nations reliant on the grain such as Egypt, may be willing to commit military resources to bolster the protection and avert widespread food shortages.

The plan would see allied navies clear the area around the southern port of Russian mines before protecting freight ships carrying the vital produce from Putin's warships according to The Times.

Already dismissed. The UK isn't going to send its warships to the Black Sea. As a whole, Europe seems to be backtracking.

No, thank you.

Turkish Straits crisis was a Cold War-era territorial conflict between the Soviet Union and Turkey. Turkey had remained officially neutral throughout most of the Second World War.[a] After the war ended, Turkey was pressured by the Soviet government to institute joint military control of passage through Turkish Straits, which connected the Black Sea to the Mediterranean.[2] When the Turkish government refused, tensions in the region rose, leading to a Soviet show of force and demands for territorial concessions along the Georgia–Turkey border.[3]

This intimidation campaign ....weaken Turkey's government and pull it into the Soviet sphere of influence.[4] ..... the summer and autumn of 1946, the Soviet Union increased its naval presence in the Black Sea, having Soviet vessels perform manoeuvres near Turkish shores. A substantial number of ground troops were dispatched to the Balkans. Buckling under the mounting pressure from the Soviets, in a matter of days Turkey appealed to the United States for aid. After consulting his administration, President Truman sent a naval task force to Turkey.[23] On 9 October 1946, the respective governments of the United States and United Kingdom reaffirmed their support for Turkey.[24] On 26 October, the Soviet Union withdrew its specific request for a new summit on the control of the Turkish Straits (but not its opinions) and sometime shortly thereafter pulled out most of the intimidatory military forces from the region. Turkey abandoned its policy of neutrality and accepted USD $100 million in economic and defence aid from the US in 1947 under the Truman Doctrine's plan of ceasing the spread of Soviet influence into Turkey and Greece. The two aforementioned nations joined NATO in 1952.[25]

these presents will remove Moscow horde from the B. sea

Turkey is still NATO member
So? NATO is not at war. Turkey is enforcing Montreax. No warships may pass. No Russian warships, no NATO warships.

Turkey protects her authority over the straits jealously. If UK warships were allowed through, Russian warships would also have to be allowed through. Turkey isn't going to do that.

Russia is using commercial freighters to supply it's forces in Syria, Turkey is looking the other way for now. Russian Naval replenishment ships are blocked.

This is why I don't think even unarmed minesweepers would be allowed.

Turkey must remember that it exists only because of our westren protection , remove it , and Moscow will attack the straits in the same day

Vladimir Putin is "weaponising Ukraine's crops" as "a blackmail tool" for the rest of the world, Poland's prime minister said at the World Economic Forum in Davos.
Mateusz Morawiecki told the BBC it was like what "Stalin did in 1933".

yes, but dont forget that Turks are natural Moscow´s FOES ! TURKS HATE Muscovites , its a cultural thing

I don't think their feelings can be described as 'hate'. Yes, they are historical rivals and will ever be. But Turkey pursues pragmatic policy. And, to tell the truth, I can only applaud how they do it now. Where they see that cooperation with Russia will be on their benefit, they do it. Syria and Nagorno-Karabakh are the examples.

Turks owe nothing to "West".
Turks existed long before NATO came into existence and will exist long after NATO is dissolved.
Montreaux predates creation date of NATO.

Any economic aid was repayed in blood (Korea), hosting nuclear weapons, U2 spyplanes, jupiter missiles etc.
And who the fuck you think you are speaking of "our protection", know your place gypsy !

Well, that may be true. But nonetheless the convoys with Ukrainian grain will be possible only with Turkish participation.

Maybe British Navy can head to America instead, loaded with baby-formula
