I read a book years ago about these traitors called Jackals of the Reich, the Germans tried to recruit from British POWs but they didn't get many the few that did join were incorporated into the Waffen SS, some had been fascists before the war with Oswald Mosley and the British Union of Fascists, we see the same thing today with the same Fascists but we call them mercenaries fighting against Russia with the so called International Legion.
