Jeeze, it first made the rounds in the British tabloids and has at least 5 different variations to it, it first showed up in 2015. The British tabloids claim 1000 meters, six tenths of a mile. One version has the sniper killing three bad guys with one shot. Now it's possible the story in it's original form is true however there's been no confirmation and no way to verify it.
