I would oppose this as an immigrant from southern or eastern Europe or Asia might make an exemplary American. Immigration should be strictly based on need for people who will be able to support themselves without government assistance of any kind and who bring specific skills/expertise that we need. Those immigrants we accept should never be because of some kind of lottery or quota or DEI policies.

And nobody should be eligible for citizenship who is not willing to fully embrace the American flag, Constitution, all other laws and American culture and relinquish all loyalty to their former country.
