There are no unforeseen shortages as he implies and he is fixating on a handful of salad vegetables which are forecast to be in low supply for a few weeks only. And , as others have said , because of weather affected harvests in Spain and north Africa .

These vegetables are in stock every day but in much smaller than usual quantity and invariably are out of stock sometime in the afternoons but back in stock the next morning .
None of which relates to Brexit in even the smallest measure .
