E Jean Carroll's lawsuit against Trump for Defamation, was filed in November of 2019.
Carroll NEVER filed a lawsuit for sexual assault using that new, 1 yr filing period....?
Her suit was not for sexual assault, it was for defamation...(which involved assault many decades ago)
She wrote about the department store incident in a book. Trump found out about it and started making claims that it was not true and accused her of being a liar, among a whole bunch of other false things... She ended up losing her job, I believe...?
But note, he never SUED HER for defamation for her claims of the incident....to me, that says something... for Trump to not sue her... It's fishy! He sues every one, and their brother!
Carroll sued Trump for defamation....for him claiming the incident was not true....
She did NOT sue him for the sexual abuse, even if she had wanted to, it also had passed the limitation cut off by 2019....that was not her suit....her suit was for defamation against her, by Trump doing his usual mouthing off....
which indirectly meant the jury had to decide if what Trump said about her lying about the incident, was actually a lie...
thus the jury had to determine if the sexual assault incident, likely happened or not. Because this was in civil court, the proof of the incident did not have to be, Beyond a Reasonable Doubt...as needed in a criminal trial....
So, her suit was for defamation against Trump, not the actual sexual abuse claim!
Strip her of her citizenship and kick her out of congress and ship her ass back home.

Instead it was "bring out the whores"! And most of Trump's"convictions" are based on that....in an election year no less.
Yes, we definitely see what went on there.
The fact that radical, hateful leftists like Bragg and Lucretia James spent YEARS combing through records to find something to hang Trump with and the best they could come up with were 1) a paid-off loan with a happy lender, and 2) a misdemeanor long expired tells you how empty they came up.

So, it turns out that she amended the 2019 case or added to it with a second case? for defamation against DJT, and added the rape/sexual assault charge in addition to her 2019 defamation charge, during that 1 year period where new law said she could...
The case name from 2019 stayed the same I had thought, for the 2022/23 case, so I presumed wrongly, that the charges were the same as they were when it first came about in 2019 when he was president!
So my dear Missourian, you were CORRECT and I was lazy, and WRONG!
Also, I thought she had only won $5 million for that case and then the $83 million as additional punishment because DJT continued to defame Carroll after she had won the first suit??? (I'm still a little confused and need more reading on it)
