It’s 34 separate felonies.

It’s the equivalent of getting a misdemeanor for jaywalking, and because you took 34 steps to cross the street, you get 34 misdemeanors.

And then, it’s elevated to 34 felonies because it’s said you jaywalked in order to conceal an underlying crime, but the crime is not identified.
