I am not surprised at all. Muscovy never had (and still does not have) Christianity — what existed there was a mixture of Islam and Mongol Nestorianism (architecture, clothing, weapons, slavery, harems‑ceremonies; everywhere you look — Islam or Islamic influence). Why did they not do all of this six months or a year ago?

It has always been Theatre at the top level , but now Russia wants to speed up matters and stop the increasing unofficial NATO drone attacks in mainland Russia and separately in Crimea .

Ukraine has effectively invited this new Moscow offensive direction ,and the last thing that its opponents should do is bleat and whine .
