Well, I support country first, party second, daveman. It's a tradition in my military family.
Damn shame not everyone feels that way, innit?
It's America, daveman. We have to let people coordinate their political feelings with what is best for them and pray that those in charge will do justly with mercy and humbly communicate their findings to their fellow Americans.
The press used to let the leaders speak.
Now, the press blogs their opinion in print and on the air as more important than those the people elect, unless the elected move when the press tilts the puppet strings. There are sweet sounds when things go their way. There are grating sounds when things don't go their way.
The people only know what they are told by the press. What they are actually hearing is filtered information from a 10th generation that has squandered the founder's gifts telling people why a strong fed is good for them and Bill of Rights privileges are out-of-date with the times.
