Breaking! Mueller Dismisses Bank Fraud Charges Against Manafort’s Business Associate Rick Gates

That's because the charges are bogus.....Mark Levin explained the so called "charges" :abgg2q.jpg:

I believe this is because he pled Guilty to some of the charges...as part of the deal, these others were dismissed.

We don't know what else it means---but as it is more complex than 2+2=4, there are going to be Partisans who think they know exactly what it means. He will co-operate against Somebody---if you are rational (as in Republican) you expect it to be Manafort; if you suffer from TDS (as in Democrat), you believe. you want to believe...it will be about Trump.

Since the dude was only indicted for the things he did with Manafort before Trump became a candidate, Manafort is the best guess.

But if you have TDS, you are sure its Trump.

This is how we will entertain ourselves for awhile. And one of these Parallel Realities which is apparent on this Board will be very disappointed.

Mueller and his Keystone Cops are a laughing stock. Can't wait to see how the Dem's get the egg off their faces over this one

Mueller moves to dismiss charges against Rick Gates in Russia probe

Mueller’s team filed a motion to drop 22 tax and bank fraud charges against Gates. The filing was tied to Gates’ agreement last week to plead guilty to conspiracy to defraud the United States and lying to the FBI.

That plea pertained to charges filed against him in October in Washington, D.C., for which he still faces up to 71 months in prison.

Under the terms of the deal, the government had agreed it would move to dismiss another set of charges brought against him more recently in a Virginia federal court. Those charges covered everything from alleged tax fraud to bank fraud.

The filing on Tuesday indicates Gates' cooperation with the special counsel team could be yielding good information -- as it pursues charges against former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort.

Gates has intimate knowledge of Manafort’s years of political consulting work in Ukraine, as well as other events that have sparked the interest of federal investigators.

The superseding indictment still applies to Manafort, who last week blasted his ex-partner for pleading guilty to Mueller’s October charges.
