What else would you base it on in a territory with two very strong, opposing cultures? The most successful place in the "old" world are ones where competing cultures with opposing world views are separated. The "new" world did fine for a while (as long as it oppressed the indigenous and the minorities), but even now it is seeing that clashing cultural values are a problem.

I asked for the solution to the problem and you said the solution is for the Jewish people to go back to where you actually came from. That is ethnic cleansing.

Actually they tried, they BEGGED the Arabs in side Israel to stay and help form the Government and defend it from invaders. A bunch chose to leave after being threatened with death by invading Arab armies BUT a bunch stayed and still live there in fact there are several Arabs in the Knesset.
