The fact is Trump began this with diplomacy during his first term, asking Iran to come to the table and renegotiate Obama's deal, and Iran refused and stepped up enriching uranium to near weapons grade, clearly threatening to build nuclear weapons, and now, in his second term, Trump again asked Iran to negotiate a new deal, and Iran again refused, so having exhausted all diplomatic options, the decision was made to take away Iran's ability to build nukes.

Sanctions are harming Iran's economy. They want their economy unshackled.

They dont want Israel's bombs in their lands. They want Israel to he despised, and they want to tease a nuke to PREVENT being invaded. I think we can agree, the message has been sent, loud and clear: get a nuke, and ya dont get attacked. It's literally the only reason Putin's army isn't dust, for example.

No, Trump began this by tearing up diplomatic agreement. He wanted a TRUMP DEAL, not an Obama deal. Let's be serious, please.

No one has proposed invading Iran since Saddam, so there iis no rational basis for defending against an invasion, however the ayatollahs have been attacking Israel and the Sunni states for 45 years now, and they seek at least a plausible nuclear threat so that they can continue to do this with impunity.

If Iran wanted to live in peace it would not be attacking the other nations in the ME, and if it continues to attack them, it has no right to expect to be able to live in peace.

Far from making Iran safer, its pursuit of nuclear weapons is the cause of all of its current troubles, and the only way to prevent Iran from having a plausible nuclear threat is for Iran to give up all enrichment activities and the removal or destruction of all of its equipment. Iran rejected all efforts to achieve this diplomatically, so it had to be achieved militarily.
