That’s the smart move. Iran had to respond with SOMETHING to save face. They did….no harm was done…and now it’s over.
The end result is that the Iranian Terrorist Regime is nowhere near getting a nuke to drop on Israel, and eventually us.

We still aren't bombing Russia.
Russia will not intervene because it can barely hold its own against Ukrainian forces, because its air force is useless against F 35's and because Russia's conventional forces are so inferior to the US that any war between them would quickly lead to a nuclear holocaust. Aside from a lot of posturing against the West, Iran's only real value to Russia is a supply of cheap drones. Just as the ayatollahs are trying to save face with a meaningless attack in Qatar, Russia is trying to save face with tough talk about Iran

Im doubtful there will be a response. Now Iran can say that they attacked back and save face. They fired missiles, we drop some bombs, so we are even. I mean, yeah we destroyed their shit, but we are even now, kinda.

Saving face is not just an innocuous gesture; it is ayatollahs defending the very actions that brought this war on, its terrorist activities that have embroiled the whole ME in near constant violence and its dedication to the destruction of Israel. The ayatollahs must lose face if any progress toward the goal of ending the ayatollahs nuclear and missile programs.
Progress toward ending the ayatollah’s nuclear program was accomplished Saturday night.
The world is a safer place as a result, thanks to Trump - and to Gd. Let the Supreme Terrorist think he saved face, if that will keep him from engaging further.

Short range missiles are much harder to intercept, they didn't use those. Which is a sign, they knew they would not be successful. And then, in their media, told their citizens that the attack was devastating to save face.
Looks more like a possible white flag than an attack.
NIce to see the rest of the arab world making it clear to Iran, they will not be helping them in anyway.
