Police in the Danish capital of Copenhagen were warning residents to stay of the streets early Sunday after two shootings within hours of each other left at least one person dead and six others wounded.

It was unclear whether the two shootings were connected, police said in an online statement.

The second incident took place about 10 hours after a deadly terror attack. In the latest incident, shots were fired near a synagogue, police said.

One person was wounded by a shot to the head and two police officers were wounded, police said. There were no details on how serious the injuries were.

Police sad the gunman ran from the scene. The shooter was a man dressed in a light gray jacket, black pants and black shoes.

Hardly lazy....I've done my research.....murder has been lower in Europe than the U.S. without guns....so you are wrong there.....my point is correct....the reason their gun murder rate is lower than ours (and their other murder rates) is that their criminals do not choose to use guns......that is the only reason.....it is obvious that their criminals can get guns when they want them....even convicted criminals on government terrorist watch lists.......

Dittos Canada...and Australia, and Belgium and all the other countries.....gun control only works on honest, law abiding citizens......

Even in Puerto Rico...and island nation without borders you can just drive guns across, and with gun control stricter than any other part of the United States....and they have one of if not the highest gun murder rate in the world......
