Investigators treating Abilene police officer's death as a homicide

Authorities are going silent. Saying they "don't want to say anything that would jeopardize this case". Including saying that they currently have no EVIDENCE it was a randomly targeted cop. Of course not...until you catch the killers...motive isn't clear and speculating can jeopardize the case.

JUST LIKE the cases of cops shooting people....they have to go silent for a while to protect the integrity of the investigation. Of course I want more info. But they must do what's proper.
