What they didn't do was to fire all of the department heads at DHS who refused to violate the various court orders and injunctions regarding the separation of families and the abuse of refugee claimants at the Southern Border. Trump is just trying to terrify the immigrant population - both legal and illegal, with his white supremacist policies.

4. Single Payer Healthcare, aka rationed healthcare, "Medicare for all"
5. Eliminate ICE and DHS, turn the US into the EU, with muslim "no go zones"
6. Promote Globalism, whatever Wall Street wants Wall Street gets, see K-Street Cash
7. Paris Climate Change Treaty where the US pays $trillions to poor countries
8. Stupid trade agreements, e.g tax breaks to move factories overseas

10. Let NK develop nukes and ICBM delivery systems, have no one capable of dealing with NK
11. Raise taxes to 70% on the wealthy, especially on corporations so they relocate overseas

By creating a welcoming environment you create an incentive to keep coming here. By implying that if you bring your kids with you, you will be treated differently creates an incentive to do so.

By refusing any form of wall, or allowing cities to refuse ICE detainers or requests, you are endorsing lawlessness.

Some of the property taxes collected on the land will go into an “Infrastructure Fund” that’s supposed to be dedicated to shoring up area streets, sidewalks, transportation and open spaces.

But there’s a catch.

The city won’t begin collecting property taxes until 11 years into the 15-year abatement, meaning the Infrastructure Fund will go unfunded for more than a decade.

Mayoral spokesman Wiley Norvell defended the funding delay, arguing there are already $2 billion in infrastructure projects underway in Long Island City.

“This isn’t the first and it won’t be the last big investment in Long Island City infrastructure,” he said.

Amazon has also agreed to build a workforce development space and spend $5 million on workshops about things such as resume-writing and computer literacy; create two public parks totalling 3.4 acres; build a public elementary or middle school; and provide a “tech incubator” space to help new start-ups.
