Few Americans are imagining how big the trouble could be.

I just have to wonder whether or not the rest of the world gives a fk anymore?

I think we all who are capable need to watch intently at what's going to happen after Trump wins in November.
 
i was thinking maybe a craft or game to wake them up. teen boys present a challenge. are the girls that "bad" these days?

The girls are worse. Boys have a sense of where the line is.
 
I would think that an experienced teacher would have some "go to" pedagogical topics (or methods) to get their attention. But maybe not.

When I posted the thread I was supervising a twice a week study hall. In theory they should have homework to do, but since it's early in the year, most of them didn't today. As the year progresses, they will have plenty to keep them busy.
 
Time for interesting short movie and a open to all classroom discussion with you as the moderator.
Have the students ask the questions of their class mates opinions.

They are going to need to use the time for homework and such. If you entertain them too much it's really hard to get them working.
