Okay I was never really a history buff but I have to admit that this film interests me. Yes I already know the ending and that it isn't happy but it still looks interesting.

Oh, good Lord. More Hollywood good guy-bad guy tripe.
If you want to see real film making of that era, consult the Germans. Excellent direction, acting, and insights. Movies like Downfall or Look Who's Back. Sort of ironic how public Nazism is banned in Germany, but they can actually tell a story about it.
