If it was you or your child being victimized in those files, would you want them released for the public's purient interests?

What should happen is key personnel from both parties should be allowed to privately see what is there. And if they concur that there is nothing there to incriminate anybody but releasing the files would violate the privacy of the victims, then we should all let it go.

As nearly as I can determine, Bongino's quarrel with Bondi is not that she isn't releasing the files but that she overpromised exposing content that isn't actually there and he is frustrated with the criticism resulting from that.

It is a safe bet that the Biden Administration destroyed any documents that could implicate people they protect.

The names of victims can simply be redacted. That's what Bondi was supposed to be doing.

Also, Karoline Leavitt claimed that they can't release the Epstein file because it contains child pornography. They can and do redact documents in order to release them however one of the things that we were taught during my digital forensics courses is that every time images/video of child pornography are duplicated or viewed, the child/ren are re-victimized over and over again, which is why even during an investigation, that media is handled very carefully.

She never said she had Epstein names on her desk. She said she had the file on her desk. You’re welcome to prove me wrong by showing the clip from the press conference where she claimed she had names. We both know that’s not going to happen because it doesn’t exist.

She was asked specifically about the list by a reporter. Her response was "it" is sitting on my desk. So now Trump's press secretary Levitt has converted the lack of specificity in her response to "meaning" that she was referring not to the list itself but to the Epstein case file.

Levitt has also indicated that the case file contains child pornography therefore it is not fit for release. Presumably it has ALWAYS contained child pornography so I'm not sure what point she's trying to make.
