Have you ever had a cat that lost it's hair? My beautiful orange kitty is losing hair around he neck. He's going to the doctor at 3:20. have you ever seen this before? Never in all my years have I seen such.

I have never seen such a thing. What did the vet have to say?

VEt says he has allergies. He gave him a shot.

sorry willow just saw this thread.....no mine always lose the leg and tummie hair from fleas.....of course when i treat for fleas..billie loses the hair where the advantage touches him....did they find flea dirt? i mean allergies is a catch all.....

i just changed food to try to stop the pukers....so far its working

He's an indoor cat, at present we don't have fleas. Stumps is treated regularly as he is in and out. We feed them Iam's indoor weight control.

i am not an iams fan....first thing i would do is change that.....

yes i didn't get my tomcat spayed until he was a few years old (mistake) and then he started licking his tummy so much the hair wore off. the vet said start giving him hormone pills & this stopped the licking. these pills also were the only medicine he seemed to enjoy eating, no problem none whatsoever giving him these pills
