President Donald Trump has ousted Pam Bondi as attorney general.
The president announced Bondi’s exit in a post Thursday on Truth Social, saying she would “be transitioning to a much needed and important new job in the private sector, to be announced at a date in the near future.” Bondi’s abrupt exit concludes a yearlong tenure marked by the breakneck erosion of the firewall between prosecutorial decision-making and the whims of a president seeking to punish his enemies.
The departure comes at a point of maximum turmoil for the Justice Department, which has seen an exodus of veteran prosecutors targeted for their perceived disloyalty to Trump, the collapse of trust from federal judges, a buckling under the weight of Trump’s mass deportation campaign, and intense blowback over its botched rollout of the Epstein files.
Bondi was not fit for office. She was his instrument for vindictive prosecutions and she failed at it. She failed to comply with the federal law requiring her turn over all of The EPSTEIN FILES. Under her tenure the DOJ became Trump's law firm which he used to prosecute his political enemies.

The U.S. Attorney General's office does not need to be in Washington, D.C. The Attorney General serves as the chief legal officer of the United States and is not confined to a specific location. The office of the Attorney General for the District of Columbia is a separate entity that enforces laws and provides legal advice in that area.
Trump needs to move the USAG's office office to KS.....Half the reason the likes of Clapper and Brennan are not charged in DC is the judges, juries, and GJs, are leftist.

The firing of Ms. Bondi, 60, ends a turbulent 14-month tenure as attorney general in which she tried desperately to appease a boss who demanded unimpeded control of the Justice Department to pursue politically motivated investigations against targets of his choosing, even when prosecutors warned that there was no evidence to do so.
In the process, Ms. Bondi surrendered much of the department’s historic independence and oversaw the exodus of experienced career officials, leaving the department’s public corruption and national security units, along with many local U.S. attorneys’ offices, weakened and demoralized.
Yet Mr. Trump remained annoyed by Ms. Bondi’s inability to secure indictments of people he referred to as “scum” during a speech in the department’s Great Hall about a year ago.
