During his own time, the French Emperor was looked at like a real piece of shit. Even as the anti-Christ himself according to the writings of his contemporary.

After all, he conquered and subjugated most of Europe. Yet, nowadays, he's at least a neutral historic figure, with culinary dishes, towns and other items named in his honor.

Mr. Hitler has been dead 80 years, when will his name be rehabilitated enough to have ice cream flavors, brands of schnapps and other items of culture named for him?

Will the people of 4000 AD be enjoying an Adolf Salad, much like we enjoy a Caesar's Salad today?

Bonaparte conquered as did so many of his time, he didn't create a industrialized means of genocide of a people as Hitler did. Napoleon was also a legitimate general and military mastermind, leading from the front in some campaigns and fighting the advanced world alone, as one nation.

Even after being conquered once, he returned back to power. An even bigger comeback than Trumps!

Hitler was not a military genius, although he had some early successes with his bold application of the Blitzkrieg in Poland and other weak nations which caused him to falsely over-rate his own competence. His name will never be rehabilitated barring a communist global victory. The height of his leadership was probably in going through the Ardennes to attack France. His soldiers amped on meth so they could walk for days (frightening, really).

I don't remember if Rommel or Hermann Hoth had a big influence on this decision, I remember it being Hitlers and most of his generals thought it was too early and too much of a longshot. The success ironically probably lead to their demise when he forced them to attack Stalingrad.

We simply need America to continue to be American and not allow the communists to continue to influence and control NY and Cali. China is laughing at how easy it has been and Trump needs to stand his ground at all costs.

I'll have to remember that next time I order some General Tso's Chicken at the local Chinese restaurant. In the Qing dynasty civil war known as the "Taiping Rebellion", he helped kill about 20 million Chinamen.

I'm sure there are other examples of modern-day common items named after nasty people.

Stalin said the following about Hitler and Napoleon:
"They refer to Napoleon, asserting that Hitler acts like Napoleon and that he resembles Napoleon in every way. But despite the fact that both come from a family of conquerors, Hitler resembles Napoleon no more than a mangy kitten resembles an Atlas lion, which are also from the same family of felines, for Napoleon fought against the forces of reaction, relying on progressive forces, while Hitler, on the contrary, relies on reactionary forces, fighting against progressive forces."

So its interesting that the ultraliberal Stalin puts Bonaparte's own ideology as a key feature on why is is lionized more than Hitler.

I wonder if Uncle Joe as US libs called him, might change his mind today, as modern liberalism is now so antisemitic and Hitler feels more like one of them?

Bonaparte helped to destroy the Feudal system throughout Central Europe, and built and a central empire with a common law system and trade. His creation occurred when Austria, Prussia, Russia, England and Spain declared war on the Republic.

Hitler killed 25mm people.

Hitler killed 25mm people.

Mr. Hitler also brought socialized medicine and draconian gun control wherever he went, which is admired by current libs, as well as his love for palestinians.
