Bombardment Armorer WWII

I'm hoping some one here can help me with this. I am in the process of transcribing my Father in Law's WWII Diary ('43-45) He was in the USAF 320th Bomber Group and was a Bombardment Armorer. I understand the basics of what he did, (armed/unarmed and loaded/unloaded bombs on B-26 Maruders) just trying to find out if there is a more detailed explanation of his job.
