She didn’t ask questions, she started out by making statements,, and Trump was right . She never said hello to start the interview. Trump stood up for himself and did not pretend, as most politicians do.

So, she asks him how he could have lunch with a white supremisst and still expect black people to believe him.

That is a sad misreading of the exchange.
The journalist, Scott of ABC, politely addressed Trump with "Sir". She said hello. He claimed she didn't ask about his well-being. Notably, neither did he ask how she or the either of the other two journalist were.

More important than those perceived niceties, was that Scott was careful and respectful to adequately establish the context and rationale for her first question, an important question.

She very appropriately established the apparent contrast between DonTrump's prior assertions and his desire to seek the support of Black citizens.
THAT is legitimate journalism.

So after establishing the rationale for the key question so that he wouldn't feel that she was being rude by posing the query immediately, well, she then asked for an explanation from the interviewee, she asked the key question:

"sir, now that you were asking black supporters to vote for you, why should black voters trust you after you have used language like that?”
