We knew this was coming soon.

Bobby Sherman, teen idol in the 1960s and '70s, and later a CPR teacher, dies at 81

Bobby Sherman, whose winsome smile and fashionable shaggy mop top helped make him into a teen idol in the 1960s and ’70s with bubblegum pop hits like “Little Woman” and “Julie, Do Ya Love Me,” has died. He was 81.

His wife, Brigitte Poublon, announced the death Tuesday and family friend John Stamos posted her message on Instagram: “Bobby left this world holding my hand — just as he held up our life with love, courage, and unwavering grace.” Sherman revealed he had Stage 4 cancer earlier this year.

Easy Come, Easy Go...

Last time I cared about what Bobby Sherman was doing was when he was on "Here Comes The Brides".

I'm wondering where he bought his plastic hair.

They must have spent two hours to prep him....because you have to spray it with silicone to make it shine like that....and then you have to have a hairdresser blow-dry it and form it into a perfect shape. Then there has to be a ton of hairspray on it to keep it from blowing all over the place.

It's easier just to wear a wig.

That's the only thing Bobby Goldsburough would sing.

We wouldn't get tired of him singing that friggen song.

Before I went into the military I used to wear the David Soul look.

He drove the teen girls wild

Guys, come on!!! I listened to a sample of every song you all have posted. The writing is bad, the singing is BARELY passable and the music style is just the worst!!!

I know that music is a preference thing, but this is the exception. This music is factually bad. The sucky-ness coming out of my speakers cannot be disputed. :dunno:

Born in 73. Its before my time, but i like a lot of music before my time. This stuff is incredibly uninspiring and soulless. Not much talent there either. Its just some dude who is singing well enough that you cant accuse him of being a bad singer, but nothing to write home about.

Im nostalgic about music from when i was younger too, but not not going to claim that the Sex Pistols are high art or an example of talent. When the lead singer of Tears for Fears dies, im not going to shed a tear for him, ya know?

You shed a tear when a talent like Dio dies, but not for Bobby ******* Sherman.
:dunno:
