These are insane numbers. 63 Hits and 45 runs scored in three games in Colorado.

I guess the air does help the ball fly out there. Check out the boxscore below in the finale, I've never seen anything like it. 24 For 49 as a team. Three players with four hits:

I was watching a betting show, and the run line in this series was 11.5, they just kept picking the over 11.5 runs every night and just kept winning. Colorado is truly an awful team.

they dont have anybody and their pitching is horrible....

In fairness, this Jays team is full of old school, grinding batters and they've been running really hot in streaks all year.

Only a few star players such as Vladdy with his half billion dollar contract, Springer (who is injured and missed out on the fun) and Bichette who has come into his own and will be a F.A after this year.

Bats have overachieved and the Jays focused on pitching depth (though ERAs aren't great). We haven't seen a team of grinders like this in a Blue Jays lineup for at least 10 years but they were never this locked in together. Jays love to get star power once in awhile but they now have Gamers who like each other. Best over all batting average in the A.L thus far.

As anyone who has ever played team sports will confirm, team bonding is huge to success. When you want to win more for each other than just yourself, it's a powerful motivator to succeed.

The Red Sox have been on a tear, hottest team in the AL East right now, and still 4 games behind the Jays.

Yankees are slumping hard, and they picked up 3 good pitchers at trade deadline. Now Judge is hobbled.

I don't know if the Jays will outlast the Sox, gonna be interesting.

Boston's 7 game winning streak was snapped by K.C. last night, but this team always shows up in Septermber, and who knows if the Jays or Sox are peaking too soon. I'm wondering if the Yankees, with all that talent, can figure it out. All 3 of these teams are more than capable of winning it all.

This is what I always fear is for some reason Toronto sports teams just fade, it's as if they get intimidated by other teams at the stretch run. Boston have passed the Yankees and they always seem to show up as a franchise in big moments.

Bichette is playing for next years contract somewhere, so I suspect he will stay hot. 34 doubles already with maybe 50 games to go. Vladdy just signed his mega deal and wants to finish strong to a rocky season.

They don't really have any huge standout players, especially pitching, though Lauer, Gausman and Berrios have been solid, not spectacular at all. Max Scherzer is well past his prime but brings that playoff pedigree that all players can look to.

It's an interesting bunch that's for sure. If they hold off Boston, they might be confident enough to surprise everyone.

Scherzer brings attitude, but he will get lit up in the playoffs. Awesome pitcher over his career, no doubt, but he can't challenge hitters with the fastball anymore. He tries to though. Great to have on a playoff staff, for sure.

If Bichette, Vlad and Springer are all healthy and hitting, they will be able to score, depending on their pitching, they might have to. I'd love to see this team go all the way to the WS.

I mean playoff pedigree as in experience not necessarily that he will even be in the rotation.
