Black Lives Matter Chicago Organizer Defends Looting: 'That's
Reparations'

A black Lives Matter Chicago organizer has defended the mass looting
that took place in the city early Monday, calling it "reparations."

Ariel Atkins spoke outside a police station in the South Loop on 18th
and South State Street on Monday, where protesters had gathered to
call for the release of those who were arrested.

"I don't care if somebody decides to loot a Gucci or a Macy's or a
Nike because that makes sure that that person eats. That makes sure
that that person has clothes," Atkins said, according to NBC Chicago.

"That's reparations. That is reparations. Anything they want to take,
take it because these businesses have insurance. They're going to get
their money back. My people aren't getting anything."

That is pathetic. What a miserable excuse for a human being.
We had a dog at one time, that took a liking to eating chickens. He was good in all other ways including rabbit hunting, but once he started, if they were there and nobody watching, he thought he was entitled. We heightened the chicken wire fence but sometimes he would climb at night to get in and eat a chicken. We finally caught him with a chicken just after he killed it but before he could eat it. We extended a wire from the electric fence, hook wired the chicken hanging to the fence and turned it on. Dog went to bite into the chicken. The electricity locked his jaws into the dead bird. He made horrible noise as he jumped and bucked, fire shooting out his feet as he left the ground. He finally jerked and jumped enough to get the chicken off the fence, which he dropped immediately and ran screaming all the way to the barn. Never touched another chicken. He no longer felt entitled. Was scared to get near one. If that had not worked, dad was going to shoot that chicken theiving/killing dog dead, no matter what his other good qualities were. We knew it was necessary.
When I read your post, that memory just came to mind.
