Watched this last night. Had not seen it since it was made.
First and foremost is Natalie Portman's performance. There is a reason she won an Academy Award for this. And seeing it just shows there should be something more than just an Academy Award. Something they only give out say every 5 years. She would get it.
The movie itself is a great story of the madness of a young girl obsessed with the perfect performance. And will do anything for it.
Symbolism in every corner of this movie, as she wades through her own madness, battling her insecurities, innocence and self doubt in order to perform a role that demands a person she is nothing like.
