Black Republicans

The only people that are helped by big government liberal welfare disenfranchisement policies are Democrats running for office who need a never ending pool of victims to vote for them. "Keep em down and keep emDemocrat."

Yep, follow the example set by LBJ. Free stuff buys votes. Keep em poor so they need free stuff. Its amazes me that the libs on this site cannot grasp that simple concept.

Could you please provide the date of the last big financial crash and then in 25 words or less, please explain why it happened?

Liberal policies and affirmative action programs are the reason for social mobility in this country, especially among Americans that got left behind.

Conservative policies have given us wage stagnation, pollution and billionaires.

Jeezus Christ, do you actually believe that bfs you just posted?

Yes he actually does, he also thinks like Pelosi that unemployment benefits stimulates the economy.

Large numbers of black people will never join a party that seems to be filled with angry conservative white people.
So they join a party of angry bitching Whites and Blacks. O.K., sure.

No they join a party that does not continually scapegoat the **** out of them and treats their leaders like the enemy.

actually they join a party that keeps them welfare dependent, wouldn't you when you would get big screen TV's, smart phones, free food and practically anything else they WANT plus a Mercedes ?

Back in 1984' after Reagan had been re-elected in a huge landslide , one of Tip O'Neil's colleagues in the House said to him, "I'm afraid we have made our grand kids a bunch of Republicans." This was reference to his belief that the New Deal and Great Society programs were responsible for one generation lifting out of poverty, and the next growing up middle class. If that be the case, then can we not expect more Black Republicans in the next 20 years? The fallacy in the Congressmans thinking was that liberal policies and affirmative action programs actually lift people up the economic ladder. I feel what happened in the 1980's was that people realized that they had achieved success through hard work and self reliance...not big government. I have a feeling that over time millions of successful Blacks will realize that it was their hard work that gave them success, not liberal Democrats. Ergo, an increase in Black Republicans.

What helped African Americans out of poverty was the opportunity for advancement through Affirmative Action. That program required that minorities have the same opportunities as everyone else.

The program worked, minorities were given access to better schools and better career opportunities.

Their own hard work came into play once they actually got those opportunities. The door was held open to them finally and they wisely made the most from that opportunity.

Had the conservatives gotten their way minorities would still be the lower class and wouldn't have the same opportunities they have today.

Conservatives have been trying to eliminate Affirmative Action for decades and now that they have control of the supreme court, they've actually been able to remove some Affirmative Action laws. Especially from colleges.

The democrat party is masterful of over promising and under delivering and apparently a lot of folks buy their propaganda and EVERY civil rights bill being opposed by democrats and supported by Republicans blacks switched to the party of slavery, go figure.

The Jews, with what you read on these boards and the treatment that Israel recieves from democrats why in the hell would any Jew vote democrat, yet they do.

Women, after the treatment Hillary received from the democrats and how any Republican woman is treated women still vote democrat.

With how the left "talks" about the 1 percenters all the really rich gravatate to the democrat party.

Really amazing bit of propanda, too bad the Republicans can't figure out a counter.

First thing they need to do is expose food stamps and public housing for what it is..."a huge scam." If the fed really investigated they would find that well in excess of 50% of welfare recipients are gaming the system. Democrats will fire back about "evil, mean, the Grinch that Stole Christmas" Republicans, but independents who pay taxes would be appalled. Welfare exist for Democrats to buy votes.

It stimulates it better than no unemployment...

Affirmative Action did none of that. People who work hard will open the door for themselves. Colleges enrolled more Blacks of their own free will...and fear of law suits. Affirmative action programs only propel the helpless victim mindset further. The very notion that a group of people require assistance because of their skin color...is racist.

If welfare exists for votes on the dem side, why is their so many GOP members on welfare? Are they voting democrat? I doubt they are...So yet another myopic point of opinion..

Bakke vs. University of California Board of Regents came down in 1978. Affirmative action laws had come into play only a few years before. Affirmative Action was just another liberal political ploy that was good on the campaign trail but useless in practice.

Curing discrimination through discrimination!

LOL, sure it did. The primary discriminator was government. Jim Crow, school segregation, they were government.

In business we are totally bigots, we care only about green...

When were you a black man looking for work in 1980?
