A closer look shows that it's the liberal policies to blame for that because they encouraged out of wedlock births, an entitlement mentality, anger and a strong dependence on government, which led to the eventual destruction of black families. They keep them in poverty by making them as comfortable as possible, yet promise more and blame their sad lot in life on the right. The treatment of minorities defines what the left is all about. The constant race baiting and endless stream of racist accusations is meant to keep people angry and wanting revenge.

When minorities rise above that, they are treated like traitors and the left rushes to ridicule them lest others get any big ideas. The treatment of black conservatives by the left speaks volumes. They accuse them of being brainwashed or other subhuman name - puppet - and they act as if no black is capable of forming their own opinions. They have already determined how they should all think because they looked at their skin. They are furious when one of the blacks defies them by behaving in a way that doesn't fit their narrow scope of how black people are supposed to think. Judging a person by their color is exactly what the left does on a daily basis. Celebrating black history month does not wash away the hypocrisy and the shame of the liberals past and present actions toward blacks.

The left hasn't changed much. Only the language has changed and they make horrible policies sound benevolent. If they called their ideology what is really is, it would be nothing more than using people like pawns to stay in power.

Nothing has changed for the better in the last 5 years. The left ignores the many blacks who have spoken out against Obama. Of course, many think that laws were to be created especially for them. The left doesn't treat all citizens equal and continues to divide and conquer. If they couldn't separate people into groups and pit them against each other, they wouldn't have pretend victims to rescue with all their radical policies.

We are all equal. The right believe that 100%. That is why the right doesn't make a big deal out Black History month. Why not talk about great people in history every day and not just gratuitously take a month to pat themselves on the back for acknowledging what the rest of us already know? Our past is what it is and there are many people to be proud of. Color doesn't matter and it's all about the great people, past and present, who helped make this a wonderful country. It's the left that goes out of their way to make a big deal out of Black History month, maybe in a feeble attempt to prove they are not racist. Some of us appreciate people, regardless of color, every day and we don't put people into categories due to skin color. The left sees color and little else. If they were colorblind like the rest of us, they wouldn't talk about it at every turn.

No need to take a special occasion to blow our own horns the way liberals do.

When a real case of racism rears it's ugly head, it should be stomped out immediately. I fear that the true cases suffer because of all the phony accusations. And I can honestly say that the most racist remarks and actions I've seen are from the left.

Let's see, there is black history month, latino history month, BET network (Black entertainment network) Ebony magazine, Black sports star magazine, Quanza, the Congressional black caucus, You white folks go crazy at the thought of "Cinco de Mayo" (while downplaying the 4th of July) and any hosts of other forms of "cultural celebration" but yet, you seem to feel guilty about your contributions to the world - as though they should just be somehow forgotten...
