NOT true. If you commit a crime that costs someone a financial loss...a criminal court can impose restitution. Happens every day.

What crime did the "White Lives Don't Matter" protesters commit?

It is a civil matter.

On private property. ..disorderly conduct for interfering with the normal function of a business. Trespassing if they were told once to leave and didnt.

They can protest all they want on the sidewalk. But go into a business and disrupt the function...its disorderly conduct.

If people try to leave and they block the exit and wont move...unlawful containment. Called kidnapping in many states.

And the manager can demand restitution from criminal court if they are arrested and he lost money over it.
