'Big nothing burger': Fani Willis hearing failed to turn up evidence of corruption

From the article....

"MSNBC's Joyce Vance argued on Friday that the first day of hearings into Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis turned up no evidence that should force her off the Georgia election interference case.

....

Ultimately, at the the end of the day yesterday, it was just a big nothing burger," Vance added. "There was nothing to show that Fani Willis and Nathan Wade had the financial conflict of interest that Georgia law recognizes, something akin to a prosecutor who only gets paid if they win a case. That's the classic case in Georgia law where there is a conflict that results in disqualification. That wasn't there yesterday in the courtroom."

Like Fani said in her testimony, these people are trying to put her on trial when she's not on trial, Trump's on trial.

She handed them their asses.

Next.....!!!!

No the state of Georgia does. Willis is history And most of it has nothing to do with the Trump case. She's created a long line of enemies over the past decade that are lining up to do her in right now.... nothing to do with Trump.
So.... her political enemies are trying to get her thrown off a criminal case that was brought by two separate grand juries against their party leader and you think she's the corrupt one? :lmao:

I urge Georgia politicians to try and fuck around and obstruct with a criminal prosecution so they can find out like Trump and his co-conspirators.

That's just it they are not her political enemies.
People from her own team are stepping forward.
That's not a good sign. Governor Kemp who absolutely despises Trump the one reviving the oversight commission. This may be a widespread problem in Georgia not just in Fulton county. The last sentence of your post makes no sense since ultimately state legislature is above the prosecutor's office.

The disgruntled ex-employee that testified was not on "her team" she was removed from the team years ago when she was given the option to resign or be fired.

The article I read mentioned that there are dozens of people coming forward. Some of them current employees.

Were any of these "dozens" in court last week?

BTW, care to cite the article here?

You mean like the first lady who was fired by Fani for repeated fuck ups or the second witness who used to be in partnership with Nathan Wade and his defense attorney until he sexually assaulted one of their employees? Great witnesses the GOP has got there. We're all so impressed. :lmao:

I listened to what was presented at court, which is what the Judge will base his decision on.

The Governor apparently isn't going to wait for the judge. He is reviving on oversight committee with the power to remove that will be independent of the court system.

Remember this Governor absolutely hates Trump and so does his attorney general and yet they are doing this anyway. Seems as though Miss Willis has been up to no good for a long time.... Long before the The Trump thing became her favorite pastime.

Please keep us appraised of how this works out. Thanks.

Just like their dear leader, the Tump cult thinks personal life of Willis will negate the criminal life of Trump.
One has nothing to do with the other. Fanni it seems has quite the potential criminal record all of her own long before Trump became an issue.

It probably would have stayed buried If not for the random political persecution she decided to become a part of.

If the governor of the state who absolutely despises Trump.... Is leading an investigative effort to look into her past dealings and possible abuse of public money I would say there's something to worry about.

Georgia can continue just fine with another prosecutor but if they don't replace her I think the more or less rolling over on the prosecution. Remember reputation is just as important and legal dealing as facts are.
What is very sensitive to how what is very sensitive to how what is very sensitive to how The court is very sensitive to appearances.
Like it or not This particular appearance looks pretty bad.

No, facts are more important. It doesn't matter that the Georgia GOP doesn't like Fani Willis. If they try and fuck around with her prosecution they're going to find out in the form of obstruction of justice charges. She's already put them on notice.

Lol....bullshit...... She'll be in over her head in two snaps. Looks like the state is going to act unilaterally anyway. Remember ultimately she works for the state.

justoffal

This is what Fani Willis said to Jim Jordan, you think she's scared of some local yokal GOP fuckwits? :dunno: :lmao:

DA Willis responds to Jordan request for info with scathing letter

“A charitable explanation of your correspondence is that you are ignorant of the United States and Georgia Constitutions and codes,” Willis wrote. “A more troubling explanation is that you are abusing your authority as Chairman of the Committee on the Judiciary to attempt to obstruct and interfere with a Georgia criminal prosecution.
