An independant investigation means it was NOT done by a municipality, court, or federal government. It means it was commissioned by and paid for by the entity itself...in this case Acorn.
Please re-reads the article with your spin glasses off.
This was paid for by Acorn...and since it was independant...they can doctor anything they want in the report seeing as THEY PAID FOR IT AND OWN IT.
