Why do local police need federal money? Oh, the feds call the tune then. Through affirmative action and lowering and further lowering the standards, etc. One example, society at large has gotten bigger while more police forces have lowered the height requirements for joining the force.

It's too late for liberal infested Portland, OR. The Dem liberal filth has taken over the entire waterfront Jansen Beach shopping/condo/marina area. Businesses are closing left and right due to theft and the safety of their employees. Some recent restaurant closures include Cracker Barrel, Shari's Cafe, Hooters and countless Mexican and Chinese restaurants. It's become a ghost town. A man was shopping at a large outdoors store last week, the drug tweakers sawed the catalytic converter off his car in the lot in broad daylight.
