The problem with President Joe Biden's response to his Debate meltdown is that he thinks if he doesn't have such meltdowns in the future he is a good candidate to run for President. President Biden isn't facing the truth that he has age related cognitive decline which makes him a worrisome and weak candidate for another four year term. It is common to see age related cognitive decline in older people and one common characteristic of this problem is that such people experiencing this problem tend to not see the other side of this they tend to be very narrow minded they tend not to have a facile intellect, an intellect that can pivot when wisdom calls for. Now I am not saying that exhibiting the aforementioned qualities definitely indicates a major diminishment of cognitive ability these qualities under the right circumstances can be an exhibition of wisdom. But in President Biden's case they are an indication that the Democrats have a leader in Joe Biden with major shortcomings.
President Biden thinks his policy agenda will solve the extremely dangerous inflation problem the nation faces he thinks that the inflation problem is largely just corporations making excessive profits, he doesn't recognize that this problem is these corporations facing increases in their expenses wage, material, energy and administration costs. Biden doesn't recognize that the President's policies need to address these problem. Really if he was prudent about the whole subject he would recognize with his policy agenda and it not addressing the causes of inflation the only way the nation is going to avoid inflation becoming a long=term crisis in tghe economy is through the Federal Reserve Bank maintaining high interest rates to put the breaks on the economy more specifically cut demand so suppliers will have to cut prices. President Biden if he was engaged like a President should be on this issue he would be saying I am going to stick with the outstanding Central Bank President we have now, Jay Powell, who gets it that priority number one, two and three is to permanently stop high inflation and to controlling interest rates to try to bring a soft landing is the path of wisdom. The American people should expect the Progressive Marionette President Biden to cow to the progressive wing of his Party and put Austin Goolsbee as the Fed. Chairperson who believes the Central Bank's job is not to clear eyed interpret statistics about the economy but to spin and cherry pick these statistics; in two years Chairman Goolsbee will have inflation double the target and ingrained in the economy necessitating a major recession to fix the problem.

He make the case for his second term by saying Trump lost more jobs than Hoover; the economy lost that many jobs because it had to be shut down because the country was experiencing a pandemic and the spread of the virus. Biden says Trump bungled the response to the Covid pandemic; that is such an idiot comment Trump launched the Covid vaccine initiative which developed a vaccine within a year an incredible, amazing historic achievement! Biden keeps harping that Trump want people to inject bleach into their bodies to stop the virus; that is not what he said he was speculating on possibilities of how to fight the virus and where the science might go! President Biden is really missing the boat if he thinks his campaign plan of calling Donal Trump a liar is going to carry the day; to his supporters and a lot of independents many of Mr. Trumps statements are not lies; they think President Trump saying that 2020 election was stolen from him is not a lie- States utilizing this non excuse mail-in-ballots are inherently against the right of franchise as political operatives harvest votes. That the U.S. has provided more aid to Ukraine than Europe to these people this isn't a lie the U.S. will have given like $100 million to Ukraine after the current appropriation is distributed. The U.S. under Biden has the biggest budget deficits these Americans don't count the Covid spending bills which the pundits do.

Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi wants to know if the debate was a one off or is representative of a problem; Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries has been trying not to commit because he knows Democrats in his caucus in swing districts might need the President to get off the ticket if he cannot turn around the public perception he is too old because otherwise it will hurt them big-time in their races, and; Congressman Jame Clyburn has been saying maybe the Party needs to have a min-primary so the ultimate candidate will have widespread support in the Party. President Biden needs to come to his senses the Wall Street Journal editorial writer Peggy Noonan this weekend wrote a really insightful article about this whole issue where Ms. Noonan made an extremely poignant and profound point when she wrote that President Biden should consider if he stays in this race after this alarming debate and loses putting Donald Trump back in the White House, history will not be kind to the Biden family and their putting their family over the country's interests. I personally would say that the word "kind" won't begin to describe the fallout if Trump in his second term is as bad as his character and values reveal he will be!
