This sage is winding down to a close. Let us hope that the whole thatcherite projet dies with it.
The govt is dreading the cost of all this but I cant see that they have many oprions.
The central qquestion is one that cant be answered.
How can a business with 16 million captive customers be 20 billion in debt ?
Its pretty easy if the shareholders are too busy filling their boots to actually provide water. Its a simple business weighed down by tory dogma.
Time to put it out of its misery.

That seems quite straightforward. But it doesnt factor in the cost of rebuilding. That is the real cost.
Having said that the govt will be forced to pick up the tan anyway.
