Beyond the Solar System . Voyager 1 has left the building

It appears that V 1 has moved beyond the Solar system, the ‘evidence’ is provided by readings (cosmic rays vs. Solar rays etc.) that show she has moved out from under/outside the Suns umbrella/influence so to speak.

She was launched in 77 with an approx. 5-7 year life span.
IF she continues on, it will take her approx. 48,000 years to get closer to another system than she is to ours……she may send signals for another 10 years perhaps.

In any event, good hunting old girl……


Oh and if you ever feel like coming home again? Leave the weirdness behind….

Outstanding.....
I love reading this stuff.A nice break from the 24-7 political scene....

Maybe the first Star Trek movie was right on.
Let's not overlook the possibility that this craft has merged with an alien life form.
How else can we explain how it's possible for it to still be working so many years after it was expected....
