This may not be straight out of the 70s ( a little earlier ) but any night in those years you could go down to the local "levee" (like in American Pie "...Drove my Chevy to the levee, but the levee was dry; Them good ol’ boys were drinking whiskey and rye, singing..." "Rocky Top"
