Best Live Albums

Dream Attic by Richard Thompson. Since everyone says that he is better live, he took the band on the road and recorded it there.

Wynton Kelly Trio with Wes Montgomery - 'Smokin' At The Half Note', 1965

Smokin' indeed!:

Kansas.... Two for the show. The Outlaws... Bring it back live.

Always liked the Outlaws. Saw them in Portland, OR back in the early 80's. They opened for Black Sabbath - kind of an odd pairing.

I saw that tour also. Very odd paring. Alot of catcalls but they stuck it none the less.

I heard that they did it because in a previous tour, they (Black Sabbath) had Van Halen open for them and got totally blown away.

Rock of Ages and The Last Waltz by the Band.

Loved The Last Waltz. Lots of great performances. Particularly enjoyed Eric Clapton and Robbie Robertson dueling guitars in Further on up the Road.
